Ladies Conference Tables

Ladies Conference 2018

The Women's Ministry of our church has held 
a Ladies conference for several years now. 
I am Chairperson of the Women's Ministry, today  as I was looking
 at photos and I thought I need to share these on my blog. 

***Insert I haven't posted since Aug. of 2017, family had to come first!

The day begins with a breakfast, then we are blessed with

 Bible Study and music from two wonderful christian women. 

At lunch we enjoy a wonderful catered meal with
 tables hosted by ladies that volunteer to  provided a complete 
table setting, a small gift for each lady and 
decorations pertaining to the theme. 
Our theme this year was Anchored In Christ
---using  anchors and other nautical items .

It is amazing how each table was completely different. 
We are so fortunate to have many talented ladies that
 volunteer there time and talents to make our
 Ladies Conference a big success every year.

Summer Oh Summer !!!!

Summer Oh Summer!!!

I have missed  blogging, just seems that 

things have got in the way.

 I had a few medical issues that left 

me with the do not want too's.

 I am sure that some of you know those feeling. 

Enough of that lets get  on with the show. 

Summer has definitely arrived here in Texas!! As I type, it is just a cool 99 which feels like 103!! 

Yes I think I will stay in the cool for the rest of the day. 

My how our Texas weather can change in a

 six months time. We have been 

snowed in and flooded in, during these last 6 months. 

 What happen to all that rain

 we had a couple of months ago. 

How soon we forget how we were wishing for it to stop.

Can you say that we had to stay home many days in the last 6 months!

Sutherland China Search

Help with Identifying China!!!!!

No I did fall off the earth, just had things going on. 

I can't seem to get warm and am really tired

 of this weather here in Texas.

 Things are looking good for the weekend. 

 Looks like we may see some sun 

Please let it be true! 

Now Bloggers

I need a little help! 

I was going through a cabinet and I found a few pieces of Sutherland China 

stacked at the back.

 I only have a few cups, saucers,dessert plates

 and a couple of square plates. 

I have searched and cannot find

 anything about the pattern. 

One of the plates does have the Sutherland China, 

Made in England with the crown in the middle. 

There is also 971 in gold marked on the cups, 

all the other pieces have no marking at all.

 If anyone has any information 

I would love to hear from you.

The flowers are more pink 

than red like in the photo.

I will be using some of the pieces on my 

Valentine Table

 which I hope to finish tomorrow.

All most missed it!
