Yes it’s been awhile but my life has been crazy!

After seeing the seasonal trees I 

Would drop by and share 

Valentine’s decorations and my tree.

Tree is located in my breakfast nook. 

It stays up all year long. 

March 1 I will change to St. Patrick’s decorations.

Valentine's are popping up and traveling everywhere!

Today's Appearance!!!!

The monthly Kiowa Women Club

 luncheon  at the Lodge in the area where we live.

I had the pleasure with my partner in decorating and dish crime

 Janice W to come up with the design and prepare for the day.

 I have to say thanks to our Bible Study Group for all 

the help on the set up day. 

We had great lunch, with an awesome music program and 

received numerous compliments on the decorations.

The next appearance will be at my

 church's Valentine breakfast on Sunday.

Returning to Blogland

Just a note to say I am still on the planet...............

and want to get back to blogging again. You know sometime life gets in the way of fun things. 

Hope everyone had a great holiday and 

all are staying safe and warm. 

The weather in Texas will be 

changing back to winter tomorrow

they predict rain, sleet and maybe snow. *****

    Guess its time for the snowman table!!!

Summer Oh Summer !!!!

Summer Oh Summer!!!

I have missed  blogging, just seems that 

things have got in the way.

 I had a few medical issues that left 

me with the do not want too's.

 I am sure that some of you know those feeling. 

Enough of that lets get  on with the show. 

Summer has definitely arrived here in Texas!! As I type, it is just a cool 99 which feels like 103!! 

Yes I think I will stay in the cool for the rest of the day. 

My how our Texas weather can change in a

 six months time. We have been 

snowed in and flooded in, during these last 6 months. 

 What happen to all that rain

 we had a couple of months ago. 

How soon we forget how we were wishing for it to stop.

Celebrating Easter

Celebrating Easter




I hope everyone had a wonderful time celebrating the Resurrections of  our
Lord Jesus Christ.  

My husband , daughter and I was privileged to be apart of our church choir for the musical presentation of

 'The Story'.

What a great way to celebrate Easter by 

hearing a musical that focuses on the
 life, death and resurrection of 

Jesus Christ

I was given the task of decorating the 
front of the pulpit and stage area.

Our choir director ask that I try to have the decoration resemble the cover of the musical.

This was the front cover

Easy Right!!!!

 

Here is what I came up with. 
I had two wonderful ladies as helpers

OK ,you know I just had to add a few things.

 We have a talented young lady that made the 

crown to match the cover.

We were very proud of the end results.

Then we thought why stop here so 

we added a few things to the foyer.

The musical was a wonderful way that we were able to share about

The life of Jesus Christ.

My family gathered after the service to what has become our traditional 

meal of chicken and spaghetti and loads of goodies.

We have no small ones, so we enjoyed a quite afternoon with family,

 kind of glad it was muddy, cool and damp here in Texas.

New Year's Eve Table 

A New Year and I guess my computer 
decided I needed a break.
On New Year's Eve I tried to post 
my New Year Eve's table.
Things did not work out I could 
not upload any of the photo's.
Well low and behold I finally tired again and
 it worked,
Better late than never!!!

I shopped the house and only purchased a few
 filler items for the center piece,
I began with a black cloth
Centerpiece is arranged on a silver tray with glass candle holders, 
silver garland and silver ornaments and trees.
 With a special appearance from a 
Doyle and Dollie silver New Year Eves bird.
