#4 RED, WHITE & BLUE SERIES
The families in Colorado need our prayers,
please pause a moment and remember them.
Hello to everyone and I hope you are enjoying your Saturday. Here in TEXAS it is already 99 with
it getting to 104 yesterday.
I think I will stay IN, stay cool and
enjoy viewing all the great blogs
or maybe a new table scape, a big decision.
If you have been a follower you know that my home is still decorated with RED, WHITE & BLUE for July.
This is at the top of my list for decorating themes.
As I was involved every night last week with
Bible School I feel I have gotten behind.
(We averaged 115 kids each night, GOD is awesome).
So gang grab a COOL drink

Gorgeous patriotic table, I totally love everything in it, specially the top hot as centerpiece. You got such pretty patriotic dishes, each one of the styles, wish I had a couple at least. Wow, it is hot there, take care and drink a lot of liquids. Amazing Bible reading class you have, soo many kids!! Have a blessed Sunday and thanks for your sweet visit.

We hit 109* yesterday...yowser! Great attention to detail in your patriotic designs. I really like your wonderful hutch. Thanks for inviting us for a peak. Cherry Kay
ReplyDeleteThanks for bringing us to Texas, but way too hot for me!
ReplyDeleteI just love those square plates! Where did you find them?
Thanks for linking to the DESTINATION Challenge at Let's Dish!
Kathleen,
DeleteI found the plates in container this year and forgotten all about them. They were from Kohl's and were on a sale table,I would image. I also have serving items. I was really shocked when I unwrapped them.
Thanks for dropping by.
I love your square fireworks plates! They are really cool. Red, white and blue and flags are some of my favorites so I really enjoyed scrolling through your collection.
ReplyDeleteHi Cathy, I live in Texas, too. It's nice to meet you. I love your sparkler plates and love how you decorated your hutch.
ReplyDeleteI'm your newest follower :)
ReplyDeleteCathy, I love patriotic things too! Love the red, white, and blue. We had a high of 100 today. I'm in Austin. Where do you live?
ReplyDeleteLove those fireworks plates and all your other details.
Oh, Cathy, I adore your red, white & blue collection! Did I spy a vintage Vicks jar in your hutch? Love it!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you stopped by my blog a left a comment. I look forward to following you.
Smiles,
Carol
Cathy, thanks for dropping by! I know Texas is hurting, weatherwise, as much as Kansas.Farmers are selling off cattle, which will mean more expensive beef for everyone!
ReplyDeleteBeautifully decorated hutch for the fourth, and I love your square plates.
Hi Cathy,
ReplyDeleteYour life sounds a lot like mine with VBS last week and the 4th of July is still all over the cottage. I am so excited to learn we have a mutual friend, Kitty from Kitty's Kozy Kitchen. It is great to meet you and I look forward to exchanges with a fellow Texan. Thanks for sharing and hope to see you soon!

That's a lot of red, white and blue! I like that you did your hutch. I change up my china cabinet several times a year. Right now it's in a beach mode! If you need to cool off, head down here to FL where it's in the low 90's. Contrary to what people believe, it never gets hotter than that, although it will still be in the low 90's in mid-September!

The French Hutch
Hi, Cathy! This is my first visit to your blog. Thanks for stopping by mine! It makes great sense to me to keep the house decorated with red, white & blue from Independence Day for as long as possible. It's a wonderful and celebratory color combination that brings a lot of joy. You have a lot of great pieces to work with! Is your hutch built into the wall? I can't tell from here, but it looks like it is. I would love to have a similar piece added to our dining room. I really like the star spangled plates, too!
ReplyDeleteHi, Kathy! Glad to meet a sister Texan! Your hutch is wonderful -- just perfect for July or even year-round. (But we know how fun it is to change with the seasons!) Thank you for visiting my table -- I'm late visiting back, as I was out of town.
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely decorations Kathy! You have everything looking so beautiful and festive! You can certainly tell that you really enjoy decorating! Have a fabulous week! Angie xo
ReplyDeleteAll of your red/white/blue looks fantastic! I love the large charger plate with the fireworks. I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
