Table in Green with the Retirement Blahs!

I need advise everyone!
How do I get out of the retirement
"Blahs"
I am calling it.
Here is what is going on:
1. Sleeping doesn't come easy
2. No real energy
3. Task don't get completed
4. Getting dressed is now overrated

OOPS! this kind of sounds like Depression laziness.
OK got to get myself in gear
I have two function here at
my house in about two weeks.
Meals to plan for 20 or more at each function.

I have been keeping up on checking out all the wonderful blogs and tablescapes.
Telling myself I am getting ideas
for my tables and I have decided ,
that is a good thing.

Looking back on my past post
found a table that I posted and
remembering how
I always worked a full day and
then got my table ready to post.

Below is my table that  I threw  put together a while back when I had sold my dining table.

Guess I better get myself on a
schedule and stick to it.

This is one of my unfinished task. The Polka Dots make me smile.

Thanks for stopping by y'all.

BUCKET LIST FOR RETIREMENT!

BUCKET LIST WHEN YOU RETIRE!
As of Monday I am no longer a working girl. I worked for 23 years at a Juvenal Facility and  6 years at the local museum and another 17  months as a administrative assistant at a Real Estate office. When I retired the first time my hubby and I decided that I would find a part time job, but that turned into a 40 hr plus a week position.
My retirement day was suppose to be May 24, but got an unexpected call Sunday and was told that I didn't need to come in on Monday.
Surprise Surprise!>>>>>>>>>>
Anyway since Monday I have just kind of been in a fog.............I have to get with it and get things going around here. I guess it will take time for me to really realize that I do not have to go to work. I have been thinking about my bucket list of things they wanted to get done when I retired......
The list never ending is so long that I do not know where to start;
Any and all suggestions as to where I should  start would be helpful:
1. Clean out the garage
2. Packet up my daughters room
(since she got married over a year ago)
3. Blog more
4. Table scape more
5. Play with my dishes
6. Repaint all the bedrooms
7. Improve the look of the deck
8. Reorganize my kitchen cabinets
9. Just a over all purge of my house
10. Go thrifting when I want to
11. Dust off the golf clubs
12. I could go on and on and on......................

OK I have bored you enough with my dilemma I thought I would  post one of my Patriotic table scape from the Past. Maybe I can get get a new one together before the weekend !

Our prayers and thoughts are with all the families that have been affected by all the tornadoes here in Texas and Oklahoma. Also the families of West still dealing with the devastating explosion. God grant them peace and faith in the coming days.

Thanks for dropping by
Hope you can give me help with my bucket
so please leave me comment.

Retirement

Hope everyone is enjoying a little cooler weather and the coming of fall. I am ready!
As the season change, things will be changing around our house hold.

Retirement for Big Jim.

Tomorrow will be the end of era in my husbands life. He will officially retire after 23 1/2 years of being a
Cooke County Juvenile Probation Officer.
He has been in the this kind of work for most of his life. He retires as the Chief Juvenile Officer. It's been a long road with nights spent transporting kids and of course the countless dealing with parents.

So now I must contin with a stay at home husband. The main thing he has on his mind is how many times a week he can play GOLF. Since we live on a golf course he can play everyday but Monday.
All I can say is I can't wait to join him.

Now I anxiously wait to see what having that stay home
 husband will be doing!

The girls at the office have a great reception planned, with some surprises for Jim.
Photos will be showing up soon!

Hope you all have a blessed week.

Thanks for stopping by.
